Sanitary wastewater comprised of water from toilets, sinks, showers, kitchens, laundries or floor drains can be used as source of feedwater for nonpotable applications after proper treatment. Wastewater from toilets alone or mixed with other wastewater is often called “black” water while wastewater from other sources such as sinks, showers, kitchens and laundries is often called “gray” water.
Typical untreated influent characteristics of “black” water include BOD levels ~ 400 ppm, COD ~600 ppm, TDS ~400 ppm, and pH 6 to 9.
Aqua Clear has the knowledge and equipment for onsite reclamation of “gray” water and “black” water using technologies such as membrane bioreactors (MBR), ultrafiltration (UF) and disinfection (UV, chlorine).
In cases where an enclosure is required, Aqua Clear manufacturers complete packaged treatment system within Enclosed Containers ready for “plug and play”.
